The Chronicle of Dorastir

Once a powerful capital city, it is now little more than a small port. Primarily human, its thriving trade industry brings in all manner of different races. Due to their reduced power after the last war, they now have frequent territorial disputes with Esscalin.

Often called "The City of Magic", Byheath is known for its College of the Arcane. Its coastal location allows for wide industries in trade, the arts, fishing, farming, and many others. The draw of the college and the self sustaining economy have made it a political powerhouse. 

While it was once a fortress utilized by the forces of Esscalin during the war, it has been abandoned since their defeat. Now it serves as a grand tombstone for the Elven emperor who once marched his army against the combined forces of Bimor and Byheath.

Currently the largest and most powerful empire in Dorastir, Esscalin is ruled by four royal lineages of Elves who now trade rulership every hundred years. The empire itself grew into prominence after the collapse of the Dragonling empire that came before. Due to its expansive borders, it has gathered plenty of enemies over the centuries.
